The Bow-dacious Sandra Oh
So yeah, I know when you hear “Sandra Oh” the first thing that comes to mind is most likely not bodacious (as in ta-tas. Right?) But here, girl be bow-dacious because that is one helluva bow on that dress. I feel like I’m a sophomore in high school again. Seriously.
I do like the color because it’s nice to see her looking feminine. I love the ball gown cut and I even love the splash of pink down the front of the skirt. It’s the goddang bow I just can’t get past. Plus, just WTF is up with one side of the bow being plastered to the dress’s bodice, while the other half juts out smack past her own personal space? It’s just weird.
So close, Sandy, so close. Snip that distracting hunk of fabric off and leave the top nice and tight and ca-ching - you be smokin’!
What do you think, dahlings? You love, or you hate?

It may look weird to you, but it means something to her: it’s the couture version of a hanbok, a traditional Korean dress, “goddang” bow and all.

Is that right, dahling? Well thanks for cluing me in. Clearly I’m not well-versed in Korean culture and it’s cool this means something to her.
Any reason why only half of the bow is out, though??

I actually like it. It’s Korean Couture and she took a chance. A brave move on her part from the usual suspects during Award season.
