Scarlett Johansson Commits a Major Shoe No-No

Yanno what, loves? I was all set to sing Scarlett Johansson’s praises for this kick-ass coat…but that was before my eyes fell upon these shoes.

Seriously, now. At what point did stars stop paying attention to basic fashion rules like “Don’t mess up the freaking line of your leg by interrupting it with a light-colored, ankle-strapped shoe over black tights”? Good Gawd. I think even a newb like Ellen Page could figure that out.

Now true, the shoes are kind of fun, but they don’t belong here. Scarlett has made her stems go from looking a mile long to looking far stumpier than necessary. It’s a pity, really. Add in the fact that you can see her black hosiery through the peep toe, and Gah! A horrendous mistake, indeed.

I’m guessing her stylist had a hangover or something. Hey, it’s possible, no?
