Rachel Bilson in ER Chic
Wow, who knew a quick stop to the ER could result in an outfit for Rachel Bilson? Can you imagine, dahlings? This is probably how it went down:
ER Worker: Uh, wow, hello, Ms. Bilson. How can we help you?
Rachel Bilson: I have this gig tonight and I need an outfit, stat. *snickers at her own joke*
ER: Um, we don’t…
RB: I’m thinking something tight. Really tight. And I’ve always liked that white strappy look. You got anything like that?
ER: No, Ms. Bilson. We don’t have anything here other than giant gowns that open in the back. Or front. Your preference.
RB’s eyes fly around the room, finally settling on a tray full of medical supplies. Her perfectly-manicured finger flies out and jabs toward a roll of medical tape.
RB: That! That’s perfect!
ER: Um, that’s tape, Ms. Bilson. We use it to secure bandages, splints and what not.
RB strips down to her birthday suit square in the middle of the ER as several male nurses (and hell, female nurses) abandon their patients to take in the show.
RB: Wrap me!
And so, an ER chic dress was born.
Beautiful story, isn’t it? Just goes to show one should never, ever underestimate how the common randomness in the world can impact fashion. Let that be a lesson to you, loves.
