Now, let me be the first to admit, I’d never introduce myself to you at a party as “Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Number One Fan”. It just ain’t gonna happen. I think it’s her name that makes me the most crazy, I dunno.
However…
As a die-hard member of the Fashion Nation, I will always recognize good fashion choices when they’re deserved, and JLH deserves some serious props here.
This dress is cool as hell, and the fact that I have always been a giant proponent of the black/white combo makes it all the better. But I dig her whole vibe here, even the outrageously huge hairdo that makes her look as though she’ll topple over should a slight breeze blow her way.
She looks chic, elegant, and even a little funky, and so Jennifer Love Hewitt earns the proud distinction of The Snarkstress’s #2 Emmy Look.

No way! The dress is pretty yes, but that hair is awful!! It looks like they curled it, and the curls didn’t hold so in the limo they quickly sprayed it w/ hair spray and it ended up frizzed out. Yuck.
Besides the best gown/look of the night was definitely Olivia Wilde! She looked like Grace Kelly and oozed class.

Er…no. No way. I really hate the dress- it’s not formal enough for the Emmys!- and the hair is ridiculous. Why isn’t Jennifer Morrison here, with that stunning gold gown? Or Lisa Edelstein, who wore a similar retro black and white gown…but made it look great.

Nah, seriously, I can see how some of you could get testy over the ‘do, but I like a little muss every now and again. And no matter what ya’ll say, I love that gawddamn dress. It’s killer and I stand by my prior convictions. JLoHew is rockin’ it here. So there. :P
