Okay, I know Anne Hathaway has been going through a lot of shit lately thanks to her naughty boyfriend, but is that a good enough excuse to pull out the 1990’s high-waisted (and pleated!) shorts? *Shudder*
Of course, some delusional folks think this is a fab look. I’m not sold. But I’m willing to hear out anyone who cares to go to bat for the high-waisted movement.

Ick, not a fan. She is a super cute girl, and those shorts in particular do NOTHING for her.
Thank goodness I’m not of enough interest for people to photograph me and discuss my clothing choices publicly when *I* go to the grocery store or run other errands. :) I’ve got some hideous pieces of my own, I must admit, but I wear them because they’re comfy.

Yep, Anne’s majorly gorg, and she’s been dressing fantastically lately. That’s why it’s such a shock that she’d turn up in something as “leave-it-in-the-past” as this.
